Pure Polish:  Madison's pedigree speaks for it's self.  His linage is built on some of the truly great sire and dam lines of our time.   He is genetically a *Bask son, but he is actually a *Bask great grandson several times over.   His breeding includes more than just great sire lines - all of the mares in his pedigree are outstanding as well.    Check out his pedigree!

Performance:  Madison has had a successful show career in Indiana under the careful guidance of Nicole Burnett.  They have won championships in English Pleasure, Park, Halter, and Native Costume.    

Madison will be shown in  2000 by Trace Moffatt of Alliance Farm in Argyle Texas.

much a gentleman 
as he is an athlete.

 

 Personality:  Madison  received his personality from his grandsire MS Santana, who was noted for his level headedness.  Madison genuinely enjoys being around people and his abundance of energy does not damper his ability to think though a situation.   He does get scared, but when in doubt he freezes.  This quality has saved his life in at least one situation!  

Madison is passing his personality on to his get.  So far, they all have his great big soft eyes and  willing disposition - even when crossed with a mare that was known for her unpleasant disposition.

 Promising Sire:  By all indications, Madison will distinguish himself as an outstanding sire.
  • His first foal crop showed some amazing similarities regardless of the mare.  In most, if not all cases, he improved the mare.  His get have well laid back shoulders, straight legs, pretty heads, large soft eyes, great dispositions and an aptitude towards performance.   They generally have a look of quality and refinement.   
  • The Bey El Bey / *Bask cross has been very successful.   Both Huckleberry Bey and Hucklebey Berry are products of this golden cross.   With so few *Bask sons left, Madison is an excellent outcross option for these and other bloodlines that crossed well with *Bask breeding.
  • *Bask son's crossed well with Saddlebreds while the Bask grandget cross does not seem to be as strong.   Madison's cross with  NSH/half Arabian mares have been exceptional.  Nicole Burnett (Indiana) has 2 foals out of the same mare, one by Madison and one by a nationally know sire and she prefers the Madison baby.
